This is an exciting new position that will play a vital role in supporting research in the HDR UK for Digital Health Insights led by Professor Richard Dobson, Dept of Biostatistics and Health Informatics.
Health Data Research UK is the new national institute for data science for health, which was established in 2018 with long term funding support from research councils, UKRI, charitable and governmental research funders. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual able to contribute to the development and dissemination of the CogStack ecosystem and RADAR-Base platforms to support clinical and research studies with collaborating clinicians or researchers. The post-holder will assist in developing new EHR and mHealth research capabilities including statistical prediction models, machine learning algorithms, advanced text technologies; e.g. predicting treatment outcomes by learning from retrospective patient medical records and sensor data.
The successful candidate will work on the development of advanced data manipulation and analysis capability, e.g. in R or other available tools; and maintaining CogStack/SemEHR deployments within HDR UK London and other partners within the national institute.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years
This is a full-time post – 100% full-time equivalent
